Myths of the Sands is a new website, which followed mythology from Egypt and the Near East, particularly in Mesopotamia. If given time, I will probably add Canaanite/Phoenician mythology.
Myths of the Sands is an off-shoot of Timeless Myths, which I started in 1999. Timeless Myths had showcase myths and legends from Greece, Rome, from Germany and the Norse Scandinavia, and the Celtic Ireland and Britain, including that of King Arthur.
Like Timeless Myths, the new site contained tales of what I have read and researched from the scattered literature. All the sources used have been put together in the hope you will enjoy exploring the old stories surrounding the religions of ancient gods. Myths of the Sands will be smaller than Timeless Myths, mainly because sources for these myths are harder to come by.
